The 18th District of Pennsylvania includes the Lehigh County portion of Bethlehem; townships of Hanover, Salisbury, Whitehall; boroughs of Catasauqua, Coplay, Emmaus and Fountain Hill. The District also includes portions of Northampton County.

Incumbent State Sen. Lisa Boscola, Democrat, is running unopposed in the May 20 primary.

Q. Why should voters re-elect you to represent the 18th district?

A. I am proud of my record in Harrisburg. I have never voted for a tax increase or a pay raise. I also voted against the pension increase and refused to take it. I put the taxpayers first when I am in Harrisburg. My goals for representing the residents of the Lehigh Valley will remain the same: eliminate property taxes, create good family sustaining jobs with smart economic development policy and ensure the state government works for the taxpayers.
