The Albany Township Historical Society has officially released its newest book, "Good Land, Good People."
The book launch took place May 3 during a wine and cheese reception at the historical society's headquarters, 404 Old Philly Pike, in the Village of Trexler.
The 224-page, hardcover book is filled with photos depicting early life in Albany Township and neighboring communities.
"Good Land, Good People," may be purchased at albanyths.org; and Albright's Mill; The Country Seat, 1013 Old Philly Pike; Bond Customart, 59 Kempton Road, all in Kempton; Dietich's Meats and Country Store, Krumsville; Saucony Book Shop, Main Street, Kutztown; and 9 a.m.-noon May 10 at the historical society's headquarters.
