Marth wins gold on day 1

Northampton's Hannah Marth was the top Konkrete Kid finisher during Tuesday's opening day of the Lehigh Valley Conference Track and Field Championships. She took home gold with a mark of 117-0 in the javelin.

Erica Filipovits ran a 47.56 and took fourth in the 300 meter hurdles, and Lyndsey Gallagher placed fourth in the 3200 meter run (11:29.64).

On the boys' side, Nicholas Cook was the top finisher with a bronze medal in the high jump at 6-02.

Timothy Kelly took home fifth in the 300 meter hurdles (41.27).
