Firefighters from Western Salisbury, Eastern Salisbury, Emmaus and South Whitehall-Cetronia fire stations respond just before 11 p.m. April 30 to a reported "commercial structure fire" at Perkins Family Restaurant, 3400 Lehigh Street, near the South Mall. The problem, behind the signage facade on the front of the restaurant, was attributed to electrical arching above the structure's alcove. Firefighters had to remove part of the facade and were on the scene about an hour.
