On April 30, Allentown Central Catholic High School will hold its National Honor Society inductions in Rockne Hall 8:30 a.m.

This ceremony welcomes the juniors who qualified and were accepted as new members of the Alpha-Omega Chapter of the National Honor Society and recognizes the current senior members.

The Central Catholic family is proud of the hard work and accomplishments all its members have achieved and looks forward to the continuation of a great tradition.

A reception for the members and their families will be held in Masson Auditorium following the ceremony.

Upcoming for Central Catholic freshman is the Cape Cod field trip. The students attending will depart May 9 and return May 11 spending the weekend in Massachusetts.

This event allows students to learn about different environments and animals as part of their biology curriculum. It entails a visit to the Boston aquarium, as well as a tour of the historical district of the city. Students then go on a whale watching trip off the coast.

During the weekend students also will tour some of the marshes and and sounds to learn about the unique wildlife and environments there. Those planning on attending are very excited and look forward to making lasting memories.
