Man arrested
for DUI
Police allege a 43-year-old Germansville man did not stop at a stop sign at 12:28 a.m. April 4 on Route 143 at Madison Street, Lynn Township, for not staying in his lane while driving on Route 309 and for allegedly having an open alcoholic container inside his vehicle while driving.
Police say the man was arrested for DUI.
He was taken to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing, police say.
Caller scams

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 57-year-old Gilbertsville man reported receiving a phone call 12:30 p.m. on April 3 while at an address in the 8000 block of Kings Highway, Lynn Township, from a caller saying he was the man's grandson.
The caller said he was in trouble with the police and needed money for bail.
Police say the man purchased four Green Dot MoneyPak prepaid cards from Walgreens and gave five credit card numbers worth $2,020 to the caller.
This incident remains under investigation.
Driver arrested
for DUI
According to a police report received April 8, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Terrance Smith of the 500 block of E. Smith Drive, Topton, was allegedly observed committing numerous traffic violations 3:22 p.m. March 14 at Route 100 and Claussville Road, Lowhill Township.
Police say Smith was arrested for driving under the influence.
