Middle school to visit fourth graders

Catasauqua Middle School will visit Shecklers fourth grade students April 24 to start preparing them for their transition to the middle school. They will continue this process on May 16 when they will tour the middle school.

Students in fourth grade are also preparing for the annual fourth grade egg drop which will take place 1:15 p.m. Friday, May 2 in the schools lower parking lot.

The Catasauqua Fire Department will drop the containers made by students from a height of approximately 50 feet.

Students must provide their own egg and create a container that will keep the egg from breaking. Their creation is to be no bigger than a shoe box and no glass may be used. Also, due to allergies, peanut butter will not be permitted.

If you have any questions, contact your child's classroom teacher.

School will be closed tomorrow. Regularly scheduled classes will resume Monday, April 21 as it is now a snow make up day.

I would like to wish everyone a very blessed and happy Easter filled with many smiles and much laughter with the ones you hold near to your hearts.
