Lehigh Carbon Community College hosts the 8th annual Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit Transition Academy Day April 25 at the college's main campus in Schnecksville, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Transition Academy Day provides information about effectively transitioning from high school to post-secondary education at a two-year or four-year college or university to students with disabilities in Lehigh and Carbon counties. Attending students experience college first-hand and participate in workshops that cover essential topics such as financial aid, maintaining proper nutrition while at college and making wise choices.
