The Pennsylvania Legislative Arts & Culture Caucus meets April 21, Miller Symphony Hall, 23 N. Sixth St., Allentown.
The Lehigh Valley is the first stop on a state tour by the caucus to ascertain the impact of the arts.
Sen. Patrick Browne (R-16), co-chair, is working with Lehigh Valley Arts Council (LVAC), Discover Lehigh Valley and Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania, to familiarize caucus members with Lehigh Valley arts.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. April 21 with a concert by El Sistema. A cocktail reception is at 7:15 p.m.
The caucus, which was formed last year, includes 86 state senators and representatives. Caucus co-chair is State Sen. Jay Costa, Jr. (D-Allegheny).
