Student named to academic team

Nathan Christie, of Allentown, recently was named to the 2013-2014 All-PA Academic Team.

The team is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges; the Coca Cola Corporation; the State System of Higher Education and the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges.

Christie is majoring in general studies at LCCC and plans to continue his education at West Chester University with a major in exercise science and a concentration in pre-occupational therapy.

Christie studies in the Honors Scholars program at LCCC and he was a member of the Student Government Association.

Christie also served as the vice president for the chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at LCCC.
