Friends of Parkland Community Library will have aluncheon meeting 1 p.m. May 1 at Morgan's Restaurant, 3079 Willow St., South Whitehall Township. Payment for the luncheon is payable to FPCL at the library circulation desk. Reservations must be received no later than April 14.

Commemorating National Holocaust Remembrance Week, the Lutz Center for Community Service, will host guest speaker Ashley Hope from 7-8:15 p.m., April 11 at Alcove C at Cedar Crest College, 100 College Drive, Allentown.

Her topic will be "The Commonality of Oppression Between Minority Groups. How the allowance of hateful and bigoted acts, by being a bystander, can lead to horrific events such as the Holocaust."

Through April 11 victims and survivors of the Holocaust will be honored in various ways on the college campus.

A postage stamp exhibition will be on display on the first floor of Alumnae Hall until April 17.
