Copeechan Fish and Game Club, 5649 Brook St., Schnecksville, will have a junior fishing contest 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 26.

The senior contest is 9 a.m.-4 p.m April 27. There is a fee for non-members to fish at the club's pond.

Copeechan's egg hunt will be 2 p.m. April 13 for children up to age 9. There will be eggs, prizes and a visit form the Easter Bunny.

Copeechan is having a potato filling fundraiser for Easter. Pick-up date is 7-10 p.m. Good Friday, April 18.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will have a Church 'N Chow luncheon 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on April 13.

Menu includes chicken rice soup, cream of potato or 10 beans with ham soup, bread, beverage and dessert.

The event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank.

St. John's Holy Week services are as follows: April 17, Maundy Thursday, 7:30 p.m.; Good Friday, 7:30 p.m.; and April 20, sunrise at 7 a.m. and Easter worship 10:15 a.m.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, reports the recent soup night was a great success. Guests could choose from 37 varieties of soup and chili, followed by a selection of delightful desserts.

Proceeds from the evening totaled $1,050 for Meals on Wheels.

Union UCC will have a pot luck supper, followed by worship and communion 6-8 p.m. Maundy Thursday, April 17.

The Good Friday Tenebrae service with altar communion will be 7 p.m.

Easter Sunday, April 20, begins with a sunrise service in the cemetery at 6 a.m.; followed by breakfast in the church social hall.

Easter worship services will be at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
