Theft from vehicle
A resident in the 2900 block of Meadowbrook Circle reported 10:17 a.m. March 30, sometime overnight, an unknown actor removed a spare key from an unlocked vehicle parked on the property.
A resident in the 2900 block of Linden Court reported 7:41 a.m. March 31 the removal of a radio faceplate and a customer's keys from an unlocked work vehicle.
A resident in the 3300 block of Capital Street reported 6:50 a.m. March 31 the removal of a Garmen GPS unit and an MP3 player from an unlocked vehicle.
A resident in the 3300 block of Capital Street reported 7:13 a.m. March 31 the removal of an iPod valued at $150 from an unlocked vehicle.
A resident in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue reported 1:42 p.m. April 1 the removal of a yellow and black Baby Trend jogging stroller from a parked vehicle. The stroller was valued at $200.
A resident in the 500 block of Weida Lane reported 10:08 a.m. April 3, the removal of change and medication from two parked vehicles. There was no damage to the vehicles.
Suspicious vehicle
Harry S Truman Elementary School children reported a suspicious vehicle 8:45 a.m. April 3 in the area of South Filbert and Federal streets. It was a white SUV with tinted windows.
Vehicle theft
A resident in the 2900 block of Linden Court reports 8:45 a.m. March 30 the theft of a green 2001 Acura TL from the driveway. The vehicle was unlocked and there was a spare vehicle key inside.
Lost property
Scott Mazda Volvo Dealership, 3209 Lehigh St., Allentown, reported 2:06 p.m. April 1, a dealer registration plate is missing.
Recovered stolen property
A Salisbury Township police officer found a Harley Davidson motorcyle parked on the side of Cedar Crest Boulevard at Fish Hatchery Road 9:50 p.m. April 2. Upon further investigation, the motorcyle was found to be owned by an Emmaus resident who had no idea it had been stolen. Emmaus police were notified.
DUI
Debra Xander, 51, Allentown, was suspected of driving under the influence after an incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 11:32 a.m. April 2. Xander allegedly drove into a restricted area on the hospital grounds going over the treads the wrong way which flattened two of her tires. She was taken to the hospital center for evaluation.
K-9 assist
Salisbury police and their K-9 were called to assist the Macungie Police Department during a vehicle stop on Brookside Road, Macungie 5:08 p.m. April 2. K-9 Fonzie was used to inspect a vehicle for suspected drugs and Fonzie did detect a drug odor in the vehicle. Drugs were later found. Fonzie is a patrol and narcotics dog certified with the National Police Canine Association.
