The Park and Recreation Commission of Hereford Township egg hunt for children ages two and up at the community park on Township Line Road behind the township building, 3131 Seisholtzville Road, 11 a.m. In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will be held April 19. Children should bring baskets or bags to use for gathering the eggs. Prizes will be given to participants who find the specially marked eggs. The event is free. Salisbury Township Recreation Committee Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. at Lindberg Park for registered Salisbury Township children ages three to 10. Registration forms are available at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building. Children must be registered by April 9.

Horizon Church, 2613 W. South Street, Allentown hosts its annual egg drop 11:30 a.m. rain or shine. Fire truck egg drop is for ages preschool through fifth grade beginning at approximately noon. Lower Macungie Township Commissioner Ron Beitler will discuss the Hamilton Crossings Tax Increment Financing and Lehigh County Commissioner Scott Ott will discuss his ideas to better manage the county budgeting process. Emmaus Historical Society's program "Uncle Jerry Roth-Father of The Great Allentown Fair" 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. Local author Simonee deFuccio will present a program on the life of the honorable Jeremiah Roth.
