Northwestern Youth Wrestling and Cheering is having a basket bingo fundraiser 1 p.m. April 5 at the Lynnport Fire Company. There will be hostess raffles, specials and door prizes.

Crossroads Community Church, which has services in Weisenberg Elementary School, will host an eggstravaganza at the school from 10 a.m.-noon April 12 for toddlers up to kids in fifth grade.
There will be 20,000 eggs to be hunted, and games for the children will be played as well.

A Genealogy work session will be held at the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society headquarters located at Werleys Corner from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 12.
This is a great time to share ideas, work on your family tree, get lots of ideas how to start one, meet new friends, and much more.
Bring a bag lunch, snacks, and beverage if you plan to make it a day.

The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department, 2500 Golden Key Road, is sponsoring a recycling event at the fire station 9 a.m.-noon April 12.
Cell phones, micro-waves, computers, print cartridges and more will be recycled free of charge. Refrigerators, air conditions, washers, dryers, televisions, light bulbs, etc. will be recycled for a small fee.

Easter on the Farm will take place at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 12.
Sample some hearth-cooking, folklife demonstrations, a petting zoo, experience the school marm presentation in the restored one-room schoolhouse and much more.
There will be Easter egg hunts for children up to age 10 at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
There will be music by Mike Hertzog and The Blue Mountain Trio, performing songs in Pa. Dutch dialect, and Keith Brintzenhoff, who will provide children's music.
The Old Time Plow Boys will have antique tractor displays and cook good food.
The Reading Berks Guild of Craftsmen also will be on site.
