DUI

Jason Rhoda, 35, of Emmaus, was stopped 9:31 p.m. March 21 along Lehigh Street at 33rd Street for an alleged traffic violation. Rhoda was taken to Central Booking on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Amanda Trexler, 23, of Emmaus, was stopped along Chapel Avenue, Allentown, 1:25 a.m. March 23 for an alleged traffic violation. Trexler was taken to Central Booking on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Theft

A victim at the offices of Anthony Abdalla, DDS, 1275 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., reports the theft of a credit card and $400 cash from a purse 2:30 p.m. March 22. The credit card was used to purchase gas.

Sometime between Feb. 4 and March 22, an unknown person removed two flat screen televisions, an acoustic guitar and an amplifier from a home in the 1700 block of Church Road.

A resident at Woodland Terrace at the Oaks, Cedar Crest Boulevard, reported 11:51 a.m. March 24 the theft of 10 gold pins and six gold coins.

A resident in the 1400 block of South Gilmore Street reported 7:19 p.m. March 26 the theft of a camper battery valued at $120.

Suspicious activity

Bank of America, 3330 Lehigh St., Allentown reported 10:15 a.m. March 22, two males taking pictures of the bank.

A resident in the 700 block of Lexington Street reported 10:15 p.m. March 25 suspicious activity including flashlights and banging near a vacant home. The resident also saw a male in the yard.

A representative at Penn Treaty Insurance, 3440 Lehigh St., reported 1 p.m. March 27 two black men took pictures of an employee's vehicle.

Illegal dumping

Police received a report of illegal dumping of yard waste at Dodson Park, 1038 Dodson St., 4:05 p.m. March 24.

Criminal mischief

A resident in the 700 block of East Tioga Street reported 5:30 p.m. March 24 an unknown person removed a recycling container and trash from the property. The resident is concerned about identity theft.

Assault

Thomas Lentz, 59, of Bethlehem, was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly kicking the victim in the stomach in the 2700 block of Honeysuckle Road, 3:06 p.m. March 26.

Truancy

Fourteen truancy citations were issued March 21 through March 28 involving both Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School students.

Alarms

Police responded to 10 burglary/hold up alarms March 21 through March 28.
