Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2096 Independent Road, New Smithville, is hosting a Gospel concert by "Witness" 7 p.m. on March 30.

The concert is free, so come for an evening of fellowship and music.

Friday Night at the Movies at Lighthouse will be 7 p.m. March 28.

The movie "Johnny," is about a foster child with leukemia who is adopted by a family that lost their 10-year-old son in a car accident while the mother was driving.

Johnny brings forgiveness and healing to the family.

This free, family movie stars Lee Majors and Mel Fair.

Crossroads Community Church, at Weisenberg Elementary School, will sponsor "Eggstravaganza," an egg hunt for toddlers through fifth grades, 10 a.m. to noon April 12.

Bring a basket and join the hunt for 20,000 eggs at the school. Games will be available as well.

Ziegels Union Church is offering Midweek Lenten Services, "Conversations with the Savior," 7 p.m. every Wednesday through April 16. A soup meal will be served at 6 p.m.

The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department is selling hoagies from Thomson's Market, Walnutport.

Order until March 25 by calling 610-285-2488.

Selections are Italian, ham and American cheese, turkey, roast beef and tuna.

Pickup will be from 4:30-6 p.m. April 3 at the fire station.

The fire department will host a recycling event at the fire station 9 a.m. to noon April 12.

Easter on the Farm will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on April 12 at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, adjacent to Kutztown University on Luckenbill Road.

Lots of activities will be available: hearth cooking, folklife demonstrations, dandelion salad tasting, a petting zoo by Noah's Animal Adventures, arts and crafts vendors from Reading Berks Guild of Craftsmen, fraktur in the one-room school and an Easter egg hunt for children ages 6 months to 10 years at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Musicians will be on site. They include Mike Hertzog and The Blue Mountain Trio performing dialect music and folk songs; Betty Naftzinger who will teach yodeling; and Keith Brintzenhoff, who will give children's music performances.

Pony rides, pot-bellied pigs, and many children's activities will be available as well

The Old Time Plow Boys will be giving wagon rides and cooking up tasty eats in the Plow Boy Kitchen.
