Cortney Avrabel has been named the Woman's Club of Whitehall January girl of the month.

She has attained high honor roll and honor roll all marking periods.

Avrabel is a student council representative, member of the Math League, Zephyr Nation, freshman girls' basketball team and JV and varsity softball teams.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, enrolled in an Emerging Health Professionals program and was named Hockendauqua Park all star player.

Avrabel was also a member of the Hockendauqua Park softball, part-time employment, church altar server and has volunteered with various church activities.

She plans to attend Moravian College or Muhlenberg College to pursue a career in the medical field specializing in pediatrics.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Avrabel.
