Congratulations to sophomore Crosley Kudla-Williams and Junior Emmie Ledesma, who recently placed first in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Competition held in Easton. Both will be advancing to the PJAS State Competition May 18-20 at Penn State University in State College. Best of luck to both of them.

Any sophomore or junior interested in going to one of the US Military Service Academies should attend the March 29 information day at Parkland High School from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Catasauqua High School Student Council is hosting a fundraiser March 19 at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Grape Street in Whitehall from 11 a.m. to closing. A portion of the sales from that day will be donated by the restaurant to the student council. Please come out and support the students.

Congratulations to CHS Senior Kanyi Creppy who is representing the high school at the end of March in Hershey as a member of the 2013 Pennsylvania State Chorus. Kanyi competed against students from 15 Pennsylvania counties to be accepted first into the PMEA District 10 Chorus and then the PMEA Region V Chorus.
