The Mission Committee of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will host its annual soup night 5:30-7:30 p.m. on March 14.
Church members will prepare a selection of homemade soups and chili for guests to sample and enjoy.
Coffee, beverages and desserts are included in the price of the ticket.
The event is a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels.

Friends of the Parkland Community Library are hosting an Italian dinner 6-9 p.m. April 23, at Morgan's Restaurant, Cedar Crest Bloulevard, South Whitehall.
The group began its around-the-world culinary adventure fundraiser series last year with a German meal.
Blake Morgan will prepare three special Italian entrees and desserts.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, is having a program on plants of the Bible noon March 19.
Penn State Master Gardener Lori Metz will give a presentation exploring plants and botanical symbolism in the Bible.
The event includes a potluck lunch and a free-will donation to the Master Gardener program.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, is participating in the Penn Northeast Conference's scarf project.
Everyone is invited to make a scarf of any color, sewn in any style, such as knitting.
The scarves will be blessed, then distributed at the conference's annual meeting to anyone who pledges to commit to acting against violence.
The project aims to protect youth from bullying.
