Alec Barber, a Northampton Area High School junior, and Matthew Guindine, a Northampton Area High School sophomore, are welcomed by Northampton Area School District Superintendent Joseph Kovalchik at the Jan. 27 school board meeting. The Scouts attended the meeting to fulfill their Boy Scouts of America Citizenship in the Community merit badge. The Scouts are members of Troop 93, which meets at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton.
