Spread the word! Heidelberg Union Church is having a big basket social 5-7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to help raise funds for the brick restoration project. Donations of baskets are encouraged.

Place baskets in a clear cellophane gift bag with a 3-inch by 5-inch card attached describing the contents. Donation of an item for a door prize is also welcome.

The kitchen will be open with lots of yummy refreshments.

Well worth it! The Lehigh-Northampton County Pomona Grangers will get together 2 p.m. March 1 at the Germansville Fire Company as guests of Central Grange 1650.

At 4 p.m., there will be a free 60-minute educational workshop titled "Identity Theft: What You Need to Know."

This presentation will provide a better understanding of how identity theft occurs and will show steps to take to help protect your identity and what you can do if identity theft happens.

The workshop will be presented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans representative Curtis Renner, CLTC, CIF.
