Jacob's Church, New Tripoli, is selling plain or brown sugar and cinnamon fastnachts. Pre-order by Feb. 28.

Pick up fasnachts from 4-5 p.m. March 1 or after the church service on March 2 in the church activity center.

Half-dozen and one dozen fastnachts or one dozen and two dozen doughnut holes are available.

Heidelberg Union Church is having a huge basket social 5-7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to help fund the brick restoration project.

The kitchen will be open serving lots of delicious refreshments.

The 2014 Austreibungsfest (Winter Vanquish) Festival will take place from 3-7 p.m. April 6, at the Germansville Fire Company social hall.

There will be the usual good victuals including Karl Ehmer Wursts and bottomless beverages.

The great Walt Groller will be providing music and entertainment for singalongs and dancing. Numerous door prizes will be awarded.
