The Sheckler Book Fair is scheduled for Feb. 19 to 26.
Students will have the opportunity to preview books or make purchases from the book fair during their library class.
There will be two more opportunities to come and visit the book fair with family to shop and make purchases together. The first being Book Fair Family Night 4 to 5 p.m. Feb. 24 and 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 26 in the cafeteria. On Book Fair/Literacy Night, there will be activities for students and families as well as food for purchase.

TV Turn Off Week takes place Feb 23 to March 1.
During the week students are encouraged to refrain from watching TV for the entire week. Students who choose to participate in TV Turn Off Week and complete the Read A Thon will receive a T-shirt commemorating Read Across America Week/TV Turn Off Week, and they will have their picture featured in the yearbook.
Remember, if your student is participating in TV Turn Off Week they must also participate in the ongoing Read A Thon for the month of February and turn in a signed calender to receive the T-shirt.

A reminder that Feb. 14 is a snow make up day and school is in regular session for students.
Students will hold classroom Valentine's Day parties Feb. 14.

School will be closed Feb. 17 for Presidents Day.
