A student musician from the Salisbury School District is among 10 students from the Arts Academy Charter School named to perform in the upcoming Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 10 Band and Orchestra Festivals.

Nicholas Jones, who plays trumpet, will appear in the PMEA Elementary Band and Orchestra Festival.

The elementary school festival will take place April 11 at Northampton High School and feature students from Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe and Pike counties.

The Arts Academy Charter School is a public middle school serving 21 school districts. The school is located 1610 Emmaus Avenue, Salisbury Township.
