Coplay residents celebrate

golden wedding anniversary

Larry and Connie Rivers of Coplay will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 8 with a dinner hosted by their family at The Hanoverville Roadhouse, Bethlehem.

The couple has two children: Cheri Schneider and her husband, Gino, both of Hellertown, and Patrick Rivers and his wife, Kathy, both of Whitehall; and four grandchildren: Jaimie and Nick Schneider and Tianna and Patrick Rivers.

Connie is the daughter of Miriam Azar and the late Harold Azar.

Larry is the son of the late Cecile (Rivers) Wedde, Jule Rivers and stepfather Dr. Theodore Wedde.
