Wednesday, Jan. 15, we had our annual Sanctity of Human Life Day Chapel.

Miss Jannique Stewart, director of "Love Protects" from Florida, was our guest speaker, representing the Life Training Institute. She also did an additional training session with the juniors and seniors, preparing them to defend a child's right to life.

Thursday, Jan. 16 we hosted eighth-grade students from Lehigh Christian Academy, Allentown and Covenant Christian Academy, Bethlehem. Student council officers gave tours, special presentations and accompanied students to classes. The eighth-graders from Bethlehem Christian School will visit LVCHS Monday, February 3.

The boys and girls basketball teams are in first place in the North division of the ACCAC conference. The girls have not lost a conference game to date. We will play Salem Christian Friday, Jan. 31, and our last home conference game Monday, Feb. 3, against Valley Forge Baptist. The girls have a home game Saturday, Feb. 1, against the Catasauqua High School Roughriders at 3 p.m. The ACCAC playoffs begin the week of Feb. 10. We most likely will host the first round games Tuesday, Feb. 11.

We are looking forward to our annual Day of Purity Wednesday, Feb. 12. The day includes special guest speakers Pastor Mike Poppa from Family Life Community Church, Bangor, and Alice Kim from CareNet Lehigh Valley.
