Q. What grade are you currently in?

A. I am currently in 12th grade at Salisbury High School.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. One of my favorite subjects would definitely be chemistry. It is something that comes easily to me most of the time. I find it to be a rather interesting subject and many of the labs I had were far from boring.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have received High Honor Roll throughout high school and had the privilege of being a team captain for the girls soccer team at Salisbury this past season. I am also in National Honor Society.

Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in, both in and out of school?

A. I have been in Key Club previously and remain involved in Student Government. I have played soccer for Salisbury throughout middle and high school. I am involved in National Honor Society and have a part-time job outside of school.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I have yet to choose the university I will attend, however, I would like to obtain a degree in biomedical engineering.

Q. What would you say your biggest challenge was so far?

A. One major challenge I have had during the school year is time management. During the season, soccer can require a lot of time. It takes a lot to balance sports, school work and a job. I've found that as long as the effort is put in, it is possible to maintain a good balance.

Q. What do you want to be remembered for?

A. I want to be remembered as a hard-working and goal-oriented student. I would also like to be remembered as a person who has a strong foundation of and sticks to her morals.

A. My immediate family includes my parents Carolyn and Gregory, my older brother Austin, my older sister Emily and my twin sister Jenny.

Q. Do you have someone you look up to?

A. One of the people I look up to would be my grandfather. He definitely has all of his priorities in line and has all of the qualities I strive to gain. He is a hard-working, caring, kind and joyful person who always places the needs of others above his own.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My main piece of advice for any student would be to keep your priorities in line. Knowing what has priority over the other parts of your agenda can help with time management and stress.
