Lower Macungie couple

celebrates 50th anniversary

Leon and Ruth Ann Dries, of Lower Macungie Township, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 14, 2013.

The Dries were married at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus.

The couple observed their anniversary by taking a cruise to the Panama Canal. They also celebrated with a family dinner at a local restaurant.

Leon and Ruth Ann have two children: Daniel, of Wyomissing, and Jill, who with her husband, Jason Haring, resides in Emmaus.

They have one grandson: Brandon Haring.
