Motors stolen

in Lowhill Twp

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say three motors in a plastic storage container at the rear of Integrity Auto, 4600 block of Route 100, Lowhill Township, were stolen between Dec. 27, 2013, and the next day.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact state police at 610-395-1438.

Big rig, SUV

collide in Lynn Twp

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Royce A. Shroyer, 46, of Hyndman, Bedford County, was driving a 2006 Kenworth W900 tractor-trailer when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Tarissa B. Vanblargan, 26, of New Tripoli, at 8:58 a.m. Jan. 10 on Kings Highway at the intersection with Mosserville Road, Lynn Township.

According to police, the tractor-trailer was backing up on Mosserville Road after sliding off Kings Highway, blocking both the east and west bound lanes of the highway.

As the SUV approached Mosserville Road from the west where Kings Highway goes over a hill and traveled over the crest of the hill, Vanblargan was unable to bring her vehicle to a complete stop before it struck the rear of the trailer and became lodged underneath.

The drivers and a 6-year-old passenger in the SUV, who were all wearing seat belts, were uninjured, police say.

Shroyer was charged in relationto the crash, police say.

Northwestern Ambulance Corps assisted at the scene.

Vehicle overturns

in Lowhill Twp

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Jennifer J. Villard, 48, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2012 Toyota 4 Runner west on Sell Road in the area of Warden Road, Lowhill Township when it overturned at 9:48 a.m. Jan. 10.

According to police, as the SUV reached the bottom of the hill, it left the left side of the roadway and struck at least two trees due to slippery road conditions.

The SUV overturned, before coming to a final rest on its roof facing west, approximately 20 feet from the roadway in a creek.

Villard was able to get out of the vehicle on her own and was transported by Northwestern Ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown, for minor injuries, police say.

She was charged with driving at an unsafe speed, police say.

The Toyota was removed from the scene by Hauser's Towing.

Trooper Michael Irons, Goodwill and New Tripoli fire departments assisted at the scene.

Teens cited for underage drinking

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 18-year-old man from the 7900 block of Holbens Valley Road, and a 17-year-old girl, both from New Tripoli, were cited for underage drinking 6:38 p.m. Jan. 8 at 4915 Route 100, Weisenberg Township.
