Items stolen

from vehicle

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 28-year-old man reported items were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. Dec. 20, 2013, and 8 a.m. the next day from his locked vehicle while it was parked at Werleys Truck Service, 2333 Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call state police at 610-395-1438.

Interlock device missing, police say

Toby James Romig, 5755 Pfeiffer Circle, Germansville, was stopped by police around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013, on Route 309 North at Route 22, South Whitehall Township for allegedly driving with a suspended license, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.

He also was allegedly driving without an ignition interlock device, which he is required to have.

Car hits cement divider in Lowhill

Alexander J. Wagner, 22, of Tamaqua, was driving a 1996 Buick Regal southbound on Route 100, Lowhill Township, just after 6 p.m. Dec. 25, 2013, when he failed to negotiating a curve in the roadway.

Police say as the car traveled south on Route 100 after HolbensValley Road, Wagner lost control of the vehicle and the car began to spin in a counterclockwise rotation and struck a cement divider with its front driver's side tire.

The car then traveled over the cement divider, traveling southeast, while facing east.

The car continued to spin in a counterclockwise motion until coming to a final rest approximately 500 feet south of Holbens Valley Road, in the northbound lane of Route 100, facing north, police say.

Police say Wagner and his passengers Harold G. Wagner Sr, 83, Harold G. Wagner, Jr., 48, and Harold G. Wagner III, 23, all of Tamaqua, were wearing seat belts.

According to police, Alexander Wagner, Harold G. Wagner,Jr., and Harold G. Wagner III were uninjured.

Harold G. Wagner Sr., did sustain minor injury, police say.

2-vehicle crash

on Old Route 22

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Donald B. Fetherolf, 56, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox when it rear-ended a 2009 Subaru Forester driven by Laurel P. Loveless, 62, of Newark, N.J., at1 0:50 a.m. Dec. 28, 2013, on Old Route 22, Weisenberg Township.

According to police, both vehicles were westbound on Old Route 22 at the intersection with Cemetery Road.

As the Subaru slowed to make a left turn onto Cemetery Road, the Chevrolet failed to stop in time striking the rear of the Subaru, police say.

Both drivers, who were wearing seat belts did not sustain injury, police say.

The Chevrolet sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Fetherolf was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Vehicle shot

in Washington Twp

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Rickey John Rice reported his unoccupied vehicle was shot by a shotgun sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Dec. 16, 2013, while it was parked at 4159 Friedens Road, Washington Township.

Damage to the vehicle is $75, police say.

Mailbox removed

from post

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 61-year-old man from 9946 Windswept Court, Weisenberg Township, reported his mailbox attached to a wooden post was removed sometime between 5:15 p.m. Dec. 22, 2013, and 7:30 a.m. the next day.

There was $100 in damage, police say.
