Auditions for the Northampton Area High School spring musical "Bye, Bye Birdie," will be held after school Friday, Jan. 3, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.

Bring a lunch on Saturday.

Audition packets are available from Mrs. Savkova, in room 1164 at the high school.

Local schools have PTA meetings set for this month.

Lehigh Elementary School will hold its PTA meeting Monday, Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

The George Wolf Elementary PTA will meet at 7 p.m. on Jan. 7 at the school.

Moore Elementary School PTA will meet Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at the school

The high school PTSA meeting will be held Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. at the high school

Lehigh Elementary School Market Day pick up will take place Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the school between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m.

The eighth-grade Parent Transition Night will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the high school between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m.

The NHS school store, the Konkrete Korner, now offers the option to purchase online.

Members of the community can access the school store's latest merchandise without having to visit in person.

The merchandise had been displayed on the Konkrete Korner's website, but customers could not purchase it online until now. Access the store from the Northampton Area High School's site using the quick link on the left side of the home page. Or go directly to http://konkretekorner.weebly.com/.

Buyers can pay for merchandise using PayPal and either pick it up at the school or have it delivered for a fee.

The goal of this website is to make purchasing Northampton merchandise more convenient for the community and increase Konkrete Kid spirit. The high school is very enthusiastic about the website.

The new online store was created with the assistance of the high school administrative team and Tara Mrazik, marketing teacher and DECA advisor.
