The adult choirs of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will present "A Christmas Celebration," Dec. 22 during the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services.

On Dec. 24, the Christmas Eve family service with candlelight, children's choirs and special music will begin at 5 p.m.

The Rev. Kris Snyder-Samuelson will give the message, "Christmas Jars."

At 8 p.m. Dec. 24, the Rev. Thomas Thomas will lead the service with the message, "The World Turned Upside Down."

Traditional carols and communion will be featured at the 11 p.m. service with the Rev. Thomas' message, "Simeon's Blessing." All services will have candlelight.

The KnitWits Group at Union UCC has been busy making caps for babies in the neonatal intensive care unit at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The caps will provide warmth not only for the babies but for the women who enjoyed their time together working on this important project.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, has scheduled four Christmas Eve services.

The 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. times will feature a child-centured family program with a message from Pastor Dennis Moore.

These two worship times will not have candlelight. The 5 p.m. service will include the Youth Singers.

At 8 p.m., the Glory Ringers will provide holiday music. During the 11 p.m. service the Union Chorale will sing.

Communion will be offered at all services. Candlelight will be featured at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, has planned two Christmas Eve services.

A family-oriented worship including a children's message will begin 6 p.m.

There will be an 8 p.m. traditional candlelight service led by Pastor James Gottwald.

A seasonal music prelude will begin 20 minutes prior to each starting time.

St. John's UCC is planning to start a breast cancer survivor group to provide an opportunity for women to encourage one another in response to this disease.

Planners want to have experienced individuals sharing their knowledge with those involved in the gathering.

Since this venture is still in the early planning stages, interested individuals are invited to provide input on how the group can best help those who are dealing with breast cancer.
