Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society will host its annual Grischtdaag (Christmas) at its Werleys Corner headquarters along Holbens Valley Road, between 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 14.
Santa will be available for pictures 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (pets welcome). Children's holiday crafts and ornament making will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cookies and quarts of soup will be available to purchase, as well as hot dogs, lemonade, hot chocolate and coffee.
Do some Christmas shopping in the store, which will have wreaths and swags by Lyon Creek Farm Market, cookbooks, crocks, historical maps, local history books and more.

Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, Luckenbill Road, adjacent to Kutztown University, will host Christmas on the Farm 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 14.
Christmas trees may be purchased onsite from Perseverance Farm.
The Belsnickel (Pa. Dutch Santa Claus) will visit, and there will be music, food, children's activities and crafts, arts and crafts vendors, wagon rides, The Old Time Plow Boys Club, the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen and more.
There also will be demonstrations in hearth cooking, brewing, log hewing, and blacksmithing.
The historic buildings will be decorated for Christmas and tours will be available of the restored farmhouse, one-room schoolhouse, log cabins, etc.

Santa Claus is coming to town riding on the Weisenberg Township Fire Department engine starting at 1 p.m. Dec. 14 at the intersection of Silver Creek Circle and Silver Creek Court in Hynemansville.
Various other stops are scheduled as well. In case of bad weather, Santa will do his run Dec. 15.

Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville, will be presenting a Living Nativity 5-6:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
The Christmas Story will be presented 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Christmas Eve services will be at 4 p.m., a service centered on Scriptures and Carols; 7 p.m., traditional family worship; at 9 p.m. traditional candlelight worship; and 11 p.m. traditional candlelight worship.
Holy Communion will be offered by intinction at all services.
On Christmas Day, a brief worship service will be offered at 9 a.m.

Weisenberg Lutheran Church will present "Charlie Brown's Christmas" under the direction of Mrs. Leisher's Theatrical Workshop, at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 and 14.
A free-will offering will be taken.
The Worship Choir will present "Advent Expressions of Hope and Expectation" at the 9 a.m. service Dec. 15.
Candlelight services will be offered at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. with Holy Communion served at the last service only.
