Simple and aggravated assault

Christopher Lee, 22, and Shelby Keeney, 21, both of the 400 block of Race Street, Macungie, were charged with assault and drug and drug paraphernalia possession after police were called to a residence in the 400 block of Race Street, 2:20 a.m. Dec. 5. Lee allegedly attacked Keeney and threatened her with a knife. Keeney allegedly assaulted Lee, leaving him with numerous bite and scratch marks. Police found and seized about one and one-half pounds of marijuana from a vehicle Lee allegedly was driving at Race and Willow streets around the time of the domestic incident. Police also recovered drug paraphernalia from the residence where Lee and Keeney allegedly live. Lee was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Keeney was charged with simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misbranding a controlled substance. Lee and Keeney were transported to Lehigh County Central Booking to be processed and arraigned.
