The Parkland School District Education Foundation has announced the nominating process for induction into the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor.
Established in 2012, the wall is inside the main entrance of the high school.
The program recognizes notable Parkland alumni who have brought honor to the district with wall plaques highlighting achievements, a current photo and the inductee's senior photo.
The wall was created to inspire students and the general community who visit the high school.
Inductees will be honored at the foundation's second annual gala and silent auction May 5, 2014.
The foundation is seeking nominees who have distinguished themselves and contributed to society in an exemplary manner.
Nominees must be at least 25 years of age and must have demonstrated at least one of the following criteria:
·Outstanding accomplishments in his or her chosen field;
·Dedicated commitment to his or her community;
·Acts of service;
·A positive impact on people;
·Recognition (locally or world-wide);
·Contribution to humanity;
·Other factors determined relevant by the selection committee.
