The Upper Lehigh Lions Club will have its first breakfast of the season 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Schnecksville Fire Hall.

Children may have their pictures taken with Santa.

The all-you-can-eat meal includes pancakes, sausage, scrapple, ham, scrambled eggs, home fries and beverages.

The Lions, whose goal is service to the community, recently donated $3,000 to the Center for Vision Loss to help those unable to afford eye care.

They also gave $1,000 to the children's gift program to benefit clients of the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.

Members are contributing cookies for holiday distribution to recipients of Meals on Wheels.

The Upper Lehigh Historical Society will have its annual sale of heritage recipe Christmas cookies and homemade clear toy candy noon-4 p.m. (or until sold out) Dec. 15 at the Schneck House, Route 873, Schnecksville.

The Sunday School singers of St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will present a musical program, "365 Days of Christmas Each Year," 7 p.m. Dec. 14.

There will be a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m.

After the musical presentation, everyone is invited to stay for dessert.

The children of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will present "The Night Shift Before Christmas," 10:30 a.m. Dec. 15.

Parkland High School chorale will stage their annual winter concert at Union UCC, Neffs, 7 p.m. Dec. 15.

All are invited to attend this event in the beautifully decorated sanctuary.

Santa Claus will travel around town atop a Schnecksville Fire Company truck Dec. 14. Listen for the siren as he comes to your neighborhood that day.

There will be a flea market in the fire company pavilion 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 15.

The Laurys Station Volunteer Fire Company is helping Santa with visits to North Whitehall residents, no matter what age, babies to elderly.

Santa will stop in at family or business Christmas parties. A donation is appreciated but not necessary.

The Learning Ark Preschool of Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, is having a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 7.

A full breakfast buffet catered by the Hoffman's, musical entertainment and a photo of your child with Santa are included in the admission fee.

There will be crafts for children, a holiday shop, and Christmas trees and pine roping available for purchase.
