Congratulations to Senior Matt Trust for receiving the Top News Writer Award from the Pennsylvania School Press Association. He was selected as the best writer from among all student gold medal winners from the 2012-13 academic year.

The high school library will be open on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to help members of the senior class prepare for the oral presentations for their senior projects on Monday Dec. 9.

Mrs. Fisher and the CLIU 21 student forum continue to collect items for the residents of the Weatherwood Nursing Home. All donations are greatly appreciated. It means a lot to the residents of the nursing home and gives them a feeling of not being forgotten during the holidays. Flyers are posted in the school, listing some of the acceptable items to donate for ladies and men, or you can speak to Mrs. Fisher, Ashleigh Tomcics, Zack DeCamp, Jacob Rusnock or Spencer Phillips for additional assistance. Donations may be dropped off in Mrs. Fisher's room, B216 by Dec. 13.
