Retail theft
Marianela Miguinia Pena Garcia, 37, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly took miscellaneous home goods items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:44 p.m. Nov. 27. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Bruno Figueroa, 45, of Whitehall, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:13 p.m. Nov. 19, after he allegedly removed UPC tags from multiple items throughout the store and went through the point of sale cash register area without paying for the items. Figueroa was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking.
Theft
Reported at the Bon-Ton department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor entered the employee lounge at the store and took a purse belonging to one of the store employees 5:30 p.m. Nov. 2. The actor fled the store. The investigation continues.
Access device fraud
Reported by a resident in the 6000 block of Tollgate Road, Lower Milford Township, an unknown actor purchased multiple items on the Internet with the resident's credit/debit card 2 p.m. Oct. 13. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported by a resident in the 1600 block of Pleasant Circle, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors opened credit card accounts using the Lower Macungie resident's name, address and other personal information at several department stores in the New Jersey area and charged merchandise to those accounts between Sept. 13 and 15.
Criminal mischief
Reported in the 2300 block of Silvano Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used three cans of dairy whipped topping to spray vehicles parked overnight Nov. 23. The whipped topping cans were left at the scene.
Receiving stolen property
Michael Conrad, 20, of Emmaus, was charged with receiving stolen property after he allegedly took a go-kart from a residence in the 3800 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, sometime between Sept. 20 and Oct. 19. Conrad allegedly took the vehicle and stored it at the home of a friend where police found it while investigating another incident at the residence.
Drug possession
Cory M. Haverstock, 27, of Allentown, was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Chestnut Street at State Route 29 in Emmaus, 1:45 a.m. Nov. 23. Police stopped Haverstock for allegedly having a headlight out while westbound on Chestnut Street. In a search of the vehicle Haverstock allegedly was driving police found a plastic bag containing marijuana, a multi-colored glass pipe and a metal and glass pipe. Each pipe allegedly contained marijuana residue.
Control of alarm devices
Jacobson Warehouse Co., 7570 Industrial Parkway, Lower Macungie Township, was charged Nov. 17 with control of alarm devices and automatic dialing devices after the business had more than three false alarms in a one-year period.
False reports to law enforcement
Dillion Koch, 24, of Lehighton, was charged with making false reports to law enforcement after she allegedly reported numerous items, including prescription medication, were taken from her unlocked vehicle parked in the 4400 block of South Cedarbrook Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:20 p.m. Nov. 21. Video surveillance footage indicated Koch's statements allegedly were incorrect and the incident did not occur. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
