With Christmas just around the corner, the Claussville Garden Club will host Denise Sanner, who will speak about "Design Your Own Holiday Card."

The club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Seipstown Grange, Clauss-ville Road.

The Senior Choir will perform the cantata, "Journey of Promise."

A Living Nativity will be performed 5-6:30 p.m. Dec. 15.

Santa will be riding throught the community on the Weisenberg Township fire truck on Dec. 14.

In case of inclement, Santa will visit Dec. 15.

Grischtdaag (Christmas) will be celebrated at Werleys Corner Hotel Dec. 14.

Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society opens its doors to the community for pictures with Santa (pets welcome, too) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

There will be children's holiday crafts and ornament making, Christmas shopping featuring cookbooks, crocks, historical maps, sweatshirts, t-shirts, postcards, and much more.

Quarts of soup and cookies will be available for purchase, as well as wreaths and swags by Lyon Creek Farm Market. For infomation, call Don at 610-298-2352.

Christmas on the Farm comes to the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 14.

There will be a visit from the Belsnickel (Pa. German Santa), music, food, children's activities and crafts, arts and crafts vendors, wagon rides, The Old Time Plow Boys Club, The Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen and much more.

The farm's historic buildings will be decorated for the holidays.
