K-9 assist

K-9 officer Fonzie was called to assist a police department in Laurys Station in search of a suicidal non-violent male. Fonzie found the man in a sleeping bag while tracking his scent. The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Suspicious activity

A volunteer with the Lehigh Valley Amateur Astrological Society, 620 E. Rock Road, Allentown, reported finding a .22-caliber shell casing on the property 11:09 a.m. Oct. 19.

Burglary

A resident in the 1700 block of Graham Street, Bethlehem, reported 10:30 a.m. Nov. 10 an unknown person entered his residence and removed five handguns from a gun cabinet. There was no forced entry into the home; however there were signs of forced entry into the locked gun cabinet.

Theft

A patient at Cedar Crest Imaging Center, 1125 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, reported 6:05 p.m. Nov. 11 the theft of an iPad left in the waiting room while he had an MRI. When he returned to the waiting room, it was gone.

Assault

Robert White, 29, of Allentown, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and harassment following an alleged incident 1:04 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 700 block of East Barner St., Allentown.

Attempted

burglary

A resident in the 700 block of East Lexington Street, Allentown, reports an unknown person broke a metal gate attempting to gain entry to the home 6:17 p.m. Nov. 18.

Theft from vehicle

An employee of Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, reported 5 p.m. Nov. 19, the theft of a spare tire from her Jeep which had been parked in the lot.

A resident in the 1400 block of Exeter Road, Allentown, reported 11 a.m. Nov. 20, an unknown person removed $3 in change from a locked vehicle. The rubber seal near the handle was disturbed.
