Early dismissals will take place Nov. 25-28 for middle school, Steckel, Zephyr and Gockley Elementary school students.

There will be no a.m. or p.m. kindergarten for Gockley students during these dates.

Also, remember no lunches will be served.

Thanksgiving break will begin Nov. 27 and end Dec. 2.

Schools reopen Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Gockley is celebrating American Education Week Nov. 18-22.

Parents are invited to visit their child's classroom during scheduled times.

Parents should park in the football stadium lot, use the front entrance to enter the building, sign in on the visitor sheet and take a visitor badge. Photo ID is required in order to enter the building.

Those with preschool children are asked not to bring them to classroom visits.

Elementary school parent teacher conferences will take place Nov. 25-27.

Anyone with questions is asked to contact the child's teacher.

The high school Leo Club is sponsoring its annual food drive this month.

Staff and students are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items through Nov. 26. The items will be delivered to the Whitehall Area Food Bank at St. Stephen's church.

Items can be dropped off in room G107 or can be delivered to the main office.
