Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will host a service of Thanksgiving comprised of choir anthems, congregational singing, prayers and fellowship at 7 p.m. Nov. 27.

People in the community are all invited to attend this special evening, which also involves the Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, congregation.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will have a service of Thanksgiving 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

Church staff report this is an opportunity to lift your voices and spirits with joyful thanks.

After the Nov. 24 worship service, members of Confirmation Class II and their mentors will sponsor Church N' Chow from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

A lunch of soup, bread, beverage and dessert will be served at a small fee to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.
