On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, we were honored to have Dr. Peter Olivo, a veteran of the Vietnam War, speak.

At the age of 19, Dr. Olivo lost both of his legs in the midst of the war. Rather than become bitter, he discovered forgiveness when an 11-year-old girl shared her faith in Jesus with him, resulting in Dr. Olivo becoming a Christian.

Today, he heads an international organization called, "Hope for Children International," which helps children suffering in other countries.
