Great expectations! Heidelberg Union Church is sponsoring a huge community vendor fair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 23.

Tastefully Simple, Scentsy, Thirty-One, Premiere, Avon, Pampered Chef and more will be represented.

Proceeds will benefit Heidelberg's God's Growing Preschool and No Limits youth group.

Heidelberg Church's Women of Faith group will meet 7 p.m., Nov. 25. Women of all ages are invited.

This fun group of females is full of activity and will be making fresh pine wreaths to enjoy this holiday season.

Fresh greens will be provided to those who are without a wreath.

However, those attending who have a wreath from previous years may bring it along with any bow or other trimmings to add to it.

Heidelberg Union Church will be hosting the annual community Thanksgiving Eve service 7 p.m. Nov. 27.

Youth from neighborhood churches will take part in a skit etitled, "Are We Truly Grateful for What We Have?"

Bring a baked or bought loaf of bread to share in a very special offering during the service.

One dish wonder! Germansville Fire Company is selling its famous Thanksgiving potato filling and hot bacon dressing just in time for the holidays.

Place an order by calling 610-767-4400 no later than Nov. 24.

Filling orders are sold by the pound, and serve approximately two people.

Don't forget to bring containers for the filling to the upstairs kitchen of the fire company anytime between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 27.
