Whitehall High School student Kimberly Casey has been named the October Student of the Month by the Woman's Club of Whitehall.

Casey has attained honor roll all marking periods. Her school activities include student council representative, student council senator, chorale, concert choir, county chorus, musical participant, concert band and film club. She also is a member of the Positive Steps committee.

She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She's been in district chorus for two years. She earned a Junior Miss Lehigh Valley Dance title and achieved first place in a national dance competition.

Outside of school, she is involved with dance, voice and piano. She is a church cantor and sings the national anthem at various events.

She plans to attend college to study voice performance and classical singing.

Casey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Casey of Whitehall.
