Salisbury Middle School student Madison Jewell, is judged as having the best artwork for the Alton Park Lions Club's annual peace poster competition. Nathan Caraballo places second in the contest for this year's competition. The theme was "Our World, Our Future." With the students are Joe Sizer, president of the Alton Park Lions Club, and middle school art teacher Jacqueline Miller. Each student who produced a poster was given a certificate of recognition, and for her first place poster, Jewell received a $50 prize.
