Whitehall-Coplay School District news

This school year Gockley Elementary School students will learn about simple techniques to help protect the environment through Crayola's Color Cycle.

This free program involves using old, dried up and used markers for clean energy.

Instead of throwing used markers into the trash and adding growth to landfills, students will be collecting old markers to send to Crayola.

Teacher Chad Brader is coordinating the program. A collection box is located in the art room. Crayola will accept all plastic bodied markers of any brand, including permanent markers, dry erase and highlighters.

More information is available at www.crayola. com/colorcycle.
