The Northampton Area Middle School is collecting food items for the Northampton Area Food Bank through Nov. 27.

Students are reminded to bring in an item from the provided, suggested list. Each homeroom will have a bag to fill.

Some of the items the food bank needs include canned vegetables, fruits, soup, stew, canned meats of any kind, pasta, pasta sauce, mac and cheese, cereal, crackers, instant potatoes, rice, stuffing mix, cleaning products, baby items and personal hygiene items.

Picture retake day for students and staff at George Wolf Elementary School is tomorrow, Nov. 8.

Students should return their original packet of photos previously taken.

Elementary school students will receive report cards Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Parents are encouraged to discuss any concerns with their child's teacher.

Northampton Area High School PTA will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the high school.

The middle school PTA will hold its next meeting 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the middle school.

High school parent teacher conferences are scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the high school.

High school students may participate in a free virtual college fair Nov. 11-16.

Students should visit www.collegefairsonline.com and click on the student tab to register.

Students can log on at any time during the week to receive information about colleges and participate in live chat sessions with college representatives.
