The Upper Lehigh Lions will be serving the meal, with side dishes and homemade dessert 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Schnecksville Fire Company.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will be having a holiday craft show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 16.

More than 60 juried crafters will be set up throughout the church.

Breakfast and lunch will be available. There will be a Chinese auction and bake sale.

Schnecksville Fire Company will have a flea market in the pavilion 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 17. The kitchen will be open.

Teena Bailey, of Red Cat Farm, Germansville, will be the featured guest at the Upper Lehigh Historical Society's Schneck House 7 p.m. Nov. 7.

She will speak about ancient grains, specifically heritage wheat.

Bailey, who raises vegetable and herb plants in the spring to sell at The Mill in Germansville, will share her knowledge and answer questions relating to her experiences.

Boy Scout Troop 144 will host a spaghetti dinner and basket social 4-7 p.m. Nov. 16 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.

Tickets for the dinner will be available at the door. Takeout is also available.

Tickets for the basket social may be purchased that evening. The drawing will be at 7 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.

Looking ahead to the big Thanksgiving dinner, the chefs at Northern Valley EMS, can help by supplying homemade stuffing, lettuce with bacon dressing and nut rolls.

Friends of the Parkland Community Library have an offer to make your Thanksgiving dinner not only enjoyable, but easier.

The library has partnered with the Perkins Restaurant, Dorneyville, for a holiday pie sale fundraiser.
